These yellowfin tuna portions have been hand cut from frozen-at-sea fish. This means the fish is frozen within hours of being caught. Individually vacuum packed for freshness and convenience. Our tuna loins are well-sized for plate coverage and a wholesome meal.

Our line-caught tuna can be cooked perfectly in a matter of minutes. There are several ways to cook this meaty fish, our favourites being seared in the pan or grilled. Tuna is one of the most protein-packed fish we supply at 21g / 100g. The omega-3 fatty acids found in tuna are known to promote good heart health, making it a perfect substitute to chicken or beef in some of your favourite meals, particularly Asian dishes.

Searing is the classic method for quickly cooking the outside of tuna while leaving the inside pink. Try coating in a crust of sesame, freshly ground black pepper and dried coriander. Sear tuna in a well-seasoned cast-iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium-high heat, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Season the portions and fry in a little oil over a medium heat for 2-4 minutes on each side.
(Preheat to 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas 6)
Remove all packaging. Season the portions and wrap in foil. Place on a pre-heated baking tray in centre of oven for 10-15 minutes. Ensure portions are piping hot.
