The packaging we use to transport your Seafood is either fully recyclable or re-usable, the outer carton and inner Kraft paper is 100% widely recycled (Kurbside).
The space age looking inner bag we use is designed to keep your Seafood in frozen condition during transport, this bag isn’t recyclable but is re-usable and is a handy freezer pack suitable for future usage.
Whilst still widely used to transport food we don’t use Polystyrene as this is classed as a problem plastic.
We believe that the best way to pack and store frozen fish to retain optimum quality is to use Vacuum bags, we are working hard to reduce the plastic content of these and we exploring recyclable alternatives, indeed we are have already started to transition some products in our range to “Ocean Prevented Plastic” and these packs are fully recyclable
