Oriental Monkfish with Spring Onion, Garlic and Soy Sauce
A rich, bold-flavoured oriental monkfish dish with fresh spring onion and garlic.
Ingredients
- 1 pack cornish monkfish medallions 200g
- 1 bunch spring onions roughly cut
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 garlic and parsley butter hearts
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds optional
Instructions
- In a frying pan, add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over a high heat.
- Place the monkfish medallions into the pan and reduce the heat to medium.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until the monkfish begins to turn golden.
- Add the chopped spring onion into the pan, and flip the monkfish over.
- Now add the soy sauce and shake the pan so all the flavours mix together. At this point, sprinkle in the sesame seeds, if desired.
- Cook for 2 more minutes and remove from the heat. Serve immediately.
Notes
Pat dry the monkfish medallions before frying to prevent drying out.
