Oriental Monkfish with Spring Onion, Garlic and Soy Sauce
A rich, bold-flavoured oriental monkfish dish with fresh spring onion and garlic.

roughly cut

soy sauce

garlic and parsley butter hearts

sesame seeds

Instructions
In a frying pan, add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over a high heat.
Place the monkfish medallions into the pan and reduce the heat to medium.
Cook for 2-3 minutes until the monkfish begins to turn golden.
Add the chopped spring onion into the pan, and flip the monkfish over.
Now add the soy sauce and shake the pan so all the flavours mix together. At this point, sprinkle in the sesame seeds, if desired.
Cook for 2 more minutes and remove from the heat. Serve immediately.
Notes
Pat dry the monkfish medallions before frying to prevent drying out.
