Luxury Surf and Turf Burger
Enjoy a luxurious twist on the classic surf and turf by topping a delicious burger with our North American lobster claw meat. A tasty and easy meal for families and a menu highlight for restaurants.
Ingredients
- 150 g cooked lobster claw meat
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise plus more for assembling
- 1 teaspoon juice from 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
- ground black pepper
- 20 ounces freshly ground beef divided into four 5-ounce patties
- 4 burger buns
- 2 tomatoes
- 4 leaves green leaf lettuce
- 8 slices crisply cooked bacon
Instructions
- Mix some mayo, lemon juice, and chives in a small bowl. Sprinkle in a little salt and pepper. Add some chilli flakes or chopped jalapenos if you'd like to add some heat. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Fry the burger patties on a hot griddle or in a skillet on the stove. Top with cheese for the last minute of cooking. Turn off the heat and let the burger patties rest for 5 minutes.
- Top and bottom buns with mayonnaise and then add lettuce, followed by the tomato. Top with the cheesy burger patty, then add the bacon and 2-3 lobster claws to each burger. Put the bun on the top of the burgers and serve immediately.
