Dill Gravadlax Tartines

These little tartines are perfect for a light lunch or starter. Simpler than making blinis, but with a similar effect, they can also serve as a canapé for welcoming guests into the home.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g gravadlax with dill 1 pack
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 100 g creme fraiche
  • 1 tsp capers
  • 1 whole pickled gherkin finely chopped
  • ½ lemon juiced

Instructions
 

  • Toast the bread, allow to cool then spread with crème fraiche.
  • Layer the slices of smoked salmon over the top.
  • Garnish with capers, gherkin and a squeeze of lemon juice, then season to taste.

Notes

Blitz up a quick honey mustard dressing and drizzle on top if you have a little more time.
