Dill Gravadlax Tartines
These little tartines are perfect for a light lunch or starter. Simpler than making blinis, but with a similar effect, they can also serve as a canapé for welcoming guests into the home.
Ingredients
- 200 g gravadlax with dill 1 pack
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 100 g creme fraiche
- 1 tsp capers
- 1 whole pickled gherkin finely chopped
- ½ lemon juiced
Instructions
- Toast the bread, allow to cool then spread with crème fraiche.
- Layer the slices of smoked salmon over the top.
- Garnish with capers, gherkin and a squeeze of lemon juice, then season to taste.
Notes
Blitz up a quick honey mustard dressing and drizzle on top if you have a little more time.
