After months of preparation, the Seafood by Sykes team is delighted to announce that our new TV advert will begin streaming on Sky TV in November and will run-up to Christmas. It’s been 12 months since we began our home delivery service and brought our restaurant-quality seafood to your door. This TV advert shows just how far our brand has come in a short space of time, but also emphasises the desire to push forward and make more people aware of the incredible products and services we offer.
The Production
After a detailed selection process to find a production company, we commenced work on our project with Fresh Cut Creative. The Leeds based team were quick to arrange a shoot day and we began crafting a range of beautiful shots, featuring our very own products. Everything was cooked by our own in-house chef and presented with his stamp of approval. Over 150 shots later, we were more than confident that we’d got enough content for our 30 second TV slot.
The Seafood
With Christmas coming thick and fast, it made sense to choose products that would be popular choices for Christmas starters and festive meals. Our whole side of Scottish salmon has been very popular since its launch on our e-commerce site in August 2021. Salmon works incredibly well with Christmas flavours like orange and cranberry which led to its appearance in our advert.
We’re aware that our biggest hope of making the dinner table at Christmas is most likely as a starter. Which led to us adding some focus on scallops, dressed crab, lobster thermidor and a platter of various prawns. IThis wide variety of seafood represents the range of great products on offer on our online store.
The Premiere
Seafood by Sykes staff were delighted with the finished advert, appreciating the rapid growth the brand has experienced. After working closely with Fresh Cut Creative to achieve the perfect edit, the final version was submitted to Sky TV to begin airing in mid-November 2021. The hope is that more customers will become aware of Seafood by Sykes and be tempted by our delicious-looking seafood and free next day delivery. With a larger customer base, the opportunity to stock more products and a wider range becomes a real possibility.
