Defrosting Tips
The best way to defrost frozen seafood safely
is slowly in the refrigerator. That means removing
your fish from the freezer and placing
it in the refrigerator overnight, or around 12-18
hours depending on the size of the fish or fillets
- If you need your fish faster, remove from
the freezer and place the sealed fish in cold
water. Change the water every 30 minutes.
Do not defrost your seafood at room temperature
and fish that has been defrosted should
be used within 1 day.
