Presenting the largest, most luxurious prawn you will ever serve up – our Super Giant King Prawn. Even meatier than lobster, and packed with an array of natural flavours, our newest product is perfect for barbecues, dinner parties and special occasions alike, but how can you prepare such sizeable produce? It’s easy! Just follow our step-by-step guide below…
Step 1: Say hello
Introduction time, say hello to the biggest prawns you’ve ever seen. You’ll soon be captivated by the size and deliciousness.
Step 2: The cut
As with all whole prawns, you’ll need to remove the vein that runs from head to tail; the first thing to do is to cut into the prawn by holding it like this.
Step 3: De-vein
With the incision made, gently prize each side of the prawn apart and remove the vein. This is actually a really simple process and, you’ll be pleased to hear, the bigger the prawn the easier it is to do!
Step 4: Pop them in the pan
Pop your prawns in a frying pan with some butter and garlic, let them cook for a few minutes until they turn a lovely pink colour, and then pop them into a preheated oven at 180 degrees c for about 10 minutes to cook through. (remember, as such sizeable produce, you might need to leave them slightly longer than normal sized prawns…).
Step 5: Tuck in
The best part – enjoy! These prawns are so big (the knife and fork add the context here..!) that even on a plate on their own they’re still a great meal. We’d love to hear how you’ve served yours…
