They are peeled, deveined and gently cooked ready to be added chilled to salads, or stirred through pasta dishes, rice dishes or stir fries moments before serving to quickly heat through whilst retaining their succulence.

Our cooked king prawns are hand-peeled, deveined then steam-cooked before being frozen, so are ready for you to defrost and serve without the need for cooking or removing heads or shell. The prawns are juicy, succulent and plump. If using in your favourite prawn recipe, these only need dropping in for the last few minutes.

These cooked king prawns are dead handy. If using them for cooking, just add them at the very last moment to the dish. I toss them through pasta regularly, often direct from the freezer. You don’t want to overcook them, as they will turn rubbery because the cooking has already been done. They are safe to consume even if not heated fully through.
