Large Raw Peeled Argentinian Wild Red Shrimp (800g)
Wild caught in the icy waters around Argentina and Patagonia, our red shrimp are quickly frozen after peeling to retain their superb quality. Their sweet flavour and meaty texture gives them a similar eating quality to lobster, so would suit a rich and creamy dish. We like to bake our premium cod loin in a brandy cream sauce and top with Argentinian red prawns as a real centre piece for a special occasion.

Wild-caught in the Southwest Atlantic Ocean, our red shrimp are individually quick frozen to lock in the freshness and texture. This species is relatively new to the UK market and continues to grow in popularity due to its bold and bright colour, even when raw, so please do note that this prawn must be cooked prior to eating. Sweeter and more flavoursome than the traditional king prawn species, they have similar eating qualities to lobster and so ideal for special occasions.

We source direct from vessels in the very southern tip of Argentina. These prawns are landed on day boats and are transferred to the factory for peeling within 24 hours of being caught. They are then frozen and sent to our UK factories for final packing.
